University of Peshawar UPESH is the largest and oldest general education public sector university of KPK province which was founded in 1950. In 2013, HEC ranked Peshawar University at 3rd position in the general category. Main campus of University is in Peshawar while its sub campus is in Bara Gali. From bachelor to PhD level, UPesh is providing different types of education including social sciences, law, medical, engineering, commerce, computer science etc. Almost all the public and private colleges in KPK and Tribal Area are affiliated with UPesh from bachelor to PhD level education. Every year, thousands of regular and private students register themselves with Peshawar University for different classes. Private students can get registration in few arts subjects of BA and MA classes.

The annual exams from bachelor to PhD degree level are held according to their schedule. The checking of paper starts soon after the result announcement. Within few months, the results are announced by UPesh. The university uploads the results at its official site soon after the result announcement for the convenience of students. The students can easily find their results through UPesh official site by using their roll numbers. Apart from that, the results cards are also posted to the institutes and mentioned addresses of regular and private students respectively while the students receive their result cards just few days after the result announcement. Soon after getting the result cards, the successful students are able to apply for higher classes while the unsuccessful students can clear their exams through supply papers.
